1. Who we are
GoDrop ("we", "us") operates a peer-to-peer parcel network connecting senders with independent couriers and travellers. We are an intermediary marketplace — we do not own, carry, or insure parcels ourselves.
2. Your account
You must be 18+ and complete identity verification (KYC) before sending or carrying parcels. You're responsible for everything that happens under your account. Keep your credentials secure.
3. Prohibited items
You may never send: weapons, ammunition, drugs or controlled substances, cash or negotiable instruments, hazardous materials, live animals, perishable food, counterfeit goods, stolen property, or anything illegal at the origin, destination, or any transit country. Violations result in immediate account termination and may be reported to authorities.
4. Couriers and travellers
Couriers are independent contractors, not employees. You set your own routes, accept jobs at your discretion, and are responsible for declaring earnings in your jurisdiction. You agree to inspect each parcel at pickup using the two-code handoff and to refuse anything suspicious.
5. Payments and fees
Senders pay upfront via Stripe. Funds are held in escrow until delivery is confirmed via the two-code handoff. GoDrop deducts a platform fee (shown at checkout) and pays the remainder to the courier on the next payout cycle. All prices include applicable taxes where required.
6. Cancellations and refunds
Senders may cancel before pickup for a full refund. After pickup, cancellations are reviewed case-by-case. Refunds for damaged, lost, or non-delivered parcels follow our dispute process — file a report within 48 hours of the scheduled delivery.
7. Liability
Our maximum liability for any delivery is capped at the declared value or €100, whichever is lower, unless the user has purchased additional protection. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. You waive any claim against us arising from a courier's or sender's conduct.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, fail KYC, generate disputes, or harm the community. You may close your account at any time from Settings.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect.
